Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors and editors. Ryder's dad came from the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder's family moved from Mendocino County, California at the age of seven old. They didn't have electricity.
