Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. She is known worldwide as Lady Gaga. She was born on Manhattan, New York in the United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of the mobile network operator Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was a director and entrepreneur of an Internet-based company was her father. She was raised in the elite Upper East Side of Manhattan as part of a Catholic family. Their parents had their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious and elitist institution. Her love of music as a child she learned to play the piano. At age thirteen, she composed her first tune. Nights at open mics were her preferred nights. Her favorite singers included queens Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. She was a music student at New York University Tisch School of Art following her secondary schooling. The student did not finish her education, but she did leave them behind and began the career of a musician.
